Dr. Carlos Jaramillo DDS

A 1988 licensed graduate of The University of Texas Health Science Center Dental School in San Antonio. Dr. Carlos Jaramillo served 14 years in the United States Navy as a Navy Commander providing dental services to Navy sailors and marines abroad. After his tours of duty he opened his new office in Portland TX where he has been practicing at The Dental Place since 2001.

Lydia Jaramillo- Business Administrator

Lydia has been married to the doctor since 1989 and together have raised three children, Andrew, Anthony, and Sarah. She handles the operational, organizational, and managerial responsibilities of the dental office.

Maria Rosas – Office Manager

An integral member of The Dental Place since 2002, Maria Rosas is your source of information from making your appointments to understanding your insurance and what benefits you are eligible for.

Holly Irvin – Dental Hygienist

Holly Irvin has been fully licensed since 2006. She graduated from Stark State College of Technology Canton Ohio where she earned her Associate Degree in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. She has been a member of our team since 2006. Her contagious personality and gentle technique makes your routine dental cleaning an enjoyable experience

Lydia Grace Rangel-Vela- Dental Hygienist

Lydia Grace Rangel has been fully licensed since 2009. She is a graduate from Del Mar College where she earned her Associate Degree in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene.
